McLaughlin is currently developing programming with writer-producer-actress, Simone Lazer, whose background in LA & NYC in front (of the camera and on stage) and behind the scenes in country music and comedy, (network, cable, interactive, Off-Broadway, radio and beyond) make for fresh collaborations in content that is family friendly with a unique perspective.
Alan was a co-founder of Network Creative Group, LLC and served as the Chief Operating Officer for BlueHighways TV, a nationally distributed cable television network focusing on American roots music from 2003 – 2017. He has also managed production departments for several independent cable networks and production facilities and has more than thirty years of distinguished production credits to his name, managing hundreds of hours of live and recorded television programs on the local and national level.
As a multi-platform content creator, producer, writer, & performer, Simone’s collaborated with renowned personalities, (and some soon to be) in a variety of arenas of entertainment. As a producer & writer, Simone’s worked on high profile network, streamed, & cable projects, as well as in film, on pre-tels, & red-carpets, often on music & comedy-driven series & specials.
As an actress, Simone is nothing like the characters she’s played, (really) and has been seen as a series regular, guest, host, & in supporting roles, as well as in leading roles on Off-Broadway & regional stages, and at The Second City. Simone’s voice has been heard on TV & radio voiceovers, while her music’s been cut by (mostly country) artists, placed in film & on TV.
Simone looks forward to NashCentric bringing interactive, music-driven production to Nashville, (a favorite community that she's been collaborating with for over 20 yrs, & now calls home) while sharing in positive adventures, (we can all use some positive adventuring about now) providing unique opportunities & platforms for the underexposed, (and not so).
